4. What are the different types of Subdivisions?
- Single Lot Subdivision - divides the parent tract ONE time, creating ONE new lot and a remaining lot.
- Minor Subdivision - divides the parent tract into 3, 4, or 5 lots, while also having a reduced impact on the environment, highways and surrounding communities.
- Major Subdivision - divides the parent tract into 6 lots or more and has a greater impact on the environment, highways and surrounding communities.
- Boundary Line Adjustment - moves a property line, which can accommodate property exchanges, resolve disputes or optimize property layout.
- An Easement - a right expressed in recorded writing, given by the owner of land to another party for specific, limited use of that land.
- Community Development does not regulate easements; they are civil matters.

Residential chicken keeping is only permitted in R-1 and R-2 with a maximum of 6. A permit is required.
