On January 21, 2020 at 19:31 hrs, Units were dispatched for the Chimney Fire on Potomac Creek RD. Units AOS and determined that there was still active fire in the flue. Fire was extinguished with chains and dry chemical bombs. Checked attic for extension - None found but did find the chimney was cracked in the attic. Used PPV to remove smoke from basement. Homeowner and occupants were instructed not to burn until a chimney professional can inspect and make repairs. Command terminated and Units cleared the scene at 20:34 hrs.
