[ARCHIVED] Structure Fire - Mobile Home - Shorty LN

On September 29, 2019 @ 08:54 hrs, Units were dispatched for the possible structure fire in a mobile home located on Shorty LN.  Upon arrival nothing was visible from sides Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie.  One male occupant was standing on the front porch waving his arms.  A 4 inch supply line was laid out from the intersection.  The male had visibly apparent 2nd degree burns to his face, nose and mouth.  He stated that he had been attempting to light a cigarette the previous night while wearing his oxygen nasal cannula. He further stated that nothing in the residence was currently on fire.  A quick glance inside the structure revealed a female laying asleep on a home health bed in the living room.  Female was awakened and told to evacuate the structure.  The male pt was turned over to EMS on scene.  The structure was evaluated and not fire damage was found and no extension was noted and no IDLH atmosphere was noted.  No evidence of smoke detectors were noted on scene.  All crews cleared and returned to service.
