On September 23, 2019 @ 07:15 hrs, Units were dispatched for smoke in a residence on Millbank RD. Units arrived to find a single story structure on a basement with nothing showing from the exterior. The occupants had evacuated the structure and the occupant requested to be evaluated by EMS. Crews entered the structure and found a slight haze of smoke in the basement area and secured the power at the breaker box. The structure was checked throughout with the TIC and no hazards were found. The smell of electrical burning and haze appeared to be mostly in the area of the laundry room/HVAC room. No heat indicators were found with the TIC. The home owner was advised not to turn the power back on until they could have and HVAC/Electrician look into the source of the problem. The occupant evaluated by EMS did not wish transport and the home owner was advised to re contact if further services were needed.
