On June 12, 2019 at 13:33 Hrs, Rescue 1 was requested by Westmoreland County for a MVA involving a Tractor Trailer and a Pickup Truck. Rescue 1, along with Battalion 1 and Chief 1, responded and arrived on scene to find a Pickup Truck that had run into the rear of a Tractor Trailer in front of Parkers Farm at 1647 Kings HWY. The PU Truck was heavily damaged with one occupant. Crews from King George, Oak Grove, and Colonial Beach worked for approximately an hour extricating the driver who was flown to the trauma center by Medstar 2.
