Congratulations to the twenty-five new Firefighters that just graduated from Spotsylvania's Recruit Academy 21!!! Three of the twenty-five graduates will now join the ranks with King George: FF/EMT Brittney Hughes-A Shift, FF/Paramedic Iain McGlothin-B Shift and FF/EMT Matthew Chambers-C Shift (who also received the class award for Excellence), and we couldnt be more excited!! The recruits, along with many instructors from both Spotsylvania and King George participated in the 26-week long academy, with Lt. Halkowich being an integral part of their daily training for the entire six months. Many days were very long and arduous, but these graduates and their families and friends toughed it out and we are so proud to have them join with us to help protect and serve our King George community.
