Emergency Medical Technician - Basic - 2018
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification program is designed to train an individual to function independently in a medical emergency. This course provides the basic knowledge and skills needed to deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) care and is required to progress to more advanced levels of prehospital patient care. This program will be a hybrid course of in-classroom and on-line learning.
DATE: January 6, 2018 – April 14, 2017 (Mondays, Wednesdays and most Saturdays)
TIMES: 1900-2200 on Mon & Wed; 0900-1700 Saturdays
LOCATION: 8122 Kings Highway, King George, VA 22485; Company 1, Training Room A
Prerequisites: See Page 3 for detailed pre-requisites. (*A CPR-Pro class will be held on December 16, 2017 at Co. 1 if you do not have this certification. REGISTRATION: You must pre-register for this class by following the Eventbrite link below. Preregistration MUST be completed by December 15, 2017.
COST: $500.00, which includes the course, your textbook and National Registry testing fees. Payment in full MUST be received by 1600 on Thursday, December 28, 2017.
