Photo of the Year

When you think of King George, what do you see? Is there a specific place or activity that comes to mind? Share your response with us by entering the King George County Photo of the Year Contest.

Contest Rules

• To be considered for Photo of the Year, a photo submission must be either a .JPG or .PNG file, between 8 - 20 megapixels large (minimum 2,550 x 3,300 pixels), preferably also in 300 dpi. Please do not resize your photos prior to submission. 
• All photos must be taken within King George County limits. 
• Applicants may enter up to three entries per person. 
• An appearance release will be required for clearly recognizable individuals in the foreground of any photo. 
• Photos must be submitted to info@co.kinggeorge.state.va.us by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2023. 
• Each photo submission must include a completed submission form.

Categories

A winner will be selected for each of the following categories:

• This is King George (General)
• Fun Starts Here (Parks & Recreation)
• Life Between the Rivers (Wildlife & Nature)

Winners

The selected winners will have their photo framed and displayed in the Revercomb Administration Building.
